computer - alternatively called "the box", "the hard drive", or "the thing that has everything plugged into it". Inside this case (or laptop) are all the components that make the computer do it's thing. There is a motherboard, CPU, hard drive, and probably a CD, DVD or floppy drive as well as video and sound adapters. Desktop computers include a relatively large case to which a keyboard, mouse and monitor are attached. Laptops have these components integrated.
driver - Software that makes hardware work. For example, you need a driver for your sound card to work properly.
hard drive - The relatively small device where your data is actually stored.
The computer itself can be completely dead, but your data may be happily
waiting for you inside in your hard drive.

hardware - A physical part of your computer or the computer itself. Also refers to periferals like printers, routers, monitors.
Note: If you find any of these links to have died, or if you find any of the information to be faulty, confusing, or malicious, please let me know. Thanks!
